Jessica Tiemersma A POSSIBLE MISSION!!!!

Ok, this is my first blog, so go along with me here. I have so wonderful news! There is a chance that I could be teaching children in South Africa this coming summer!!! My pastor is originally from there, and her sister remains still in South Africa. My pastor showed us a video of all there hard work with trying to fix up a school for these children. And my heart just completely went out to them. For years I have felt that I needed to be out there, on missions, specifically helping out with chi… Continue

JOHN RAVICHANDRAN HALLELUJAH VILLAGE CHURCH TRUST MELMONAVUR VILLAGE VELLORE 10 TN INDIA

HELPING REACH INDIA FOR JESUS CHRIST By: John Ravichandran Loving Greetings to you all in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! I praise the Lord for His mercy to share my testimony with you all. I guess you could say I was blessed to be born into a Christian family. Without the truth of God being taught to me at a young age, I might not be alive today to tell others that there is only ONE way to be reunited spiritually with God the Father . . . " and that is by having a personal relatio… Continue

Tom McNeal So what is your story?

Today marks the launch of www.askmemystory.org which is a non-profit organization that God laid on my heart in April ’08 when I was praying and asking Him why I had such a hard time sharing my faith with others although I can talk to anyone about anything. His answer was ‘ask me my story’. Our purpose is to: • Help Christians share their "story", which in turn tells the story of Jesus Christ. By using our resources and the "Ask Me My Story" shirt, you are able to easily invite people into conve… Continue

lauradonnel Call Me Irresponsible

I like waking up at any time of the day. I like working when my mood says so. I like composing my features on the bed. Freelance writing suits me. I realized that before I resigned from my last office job. My boss was the nicest and the most tolerant. Perhaps my short tenure in his office was a test for him. I was obedient and industrious during my first month. It was d… Continue

Youthfully Yoked What is my purpose?

Have you ever been caught in the moment and asked youself, "What is my purpose? What am I here for? Lord why am I going through sooo much?" Do you feel like you’re spinning of the hamster wheel of life and getting nowhere? Well I would be lying to you if I said I hadn't. Discovering your purpose if revealed to you day by day without you even knowing it. God sets it before you without us even comprehending what exactly it is. We deal so much with the issues of life that it blinds us to our comple… Continue

To get an general idea of the situation I met my(then)fiance online and as we were planning to meet my relatives(not my parents)got pretty hard on him and after I went to see him I left back home to the USA.It was right before I left his country that he told me it's not me,it's the family. From there he didn't interact with me for a year followed by various emails mentioning the he still loves me.It seems to me he still pretty hung up on what happened with my relatives and I guess what I am askin… Continue

Desoka be aware of when getting chemical treatments:

* Relaxers. Relaxers (straighteners) work by breaking chemical bonds in curly hair. Relaxers containing lye can cause skin irritation and hair breakage. Although "no lye" relaxers may cause less irritation, both types of relaxers can cause problems if they are used in the wrong way (for example, if they're mixed incorrectly or left on the hair for too long). Scratching, brushing, or combing your hair right before a chemical relaxing treatment can increase these risks. And don't use relaxers — or… Continue

Desoka Never Too Late

Okay, I'm not in an emo mode here – though the title of my post sounds like one. Actually, what I'm about to talk about here is how I was able to do some multi-tasking the other week just to meet deadlines, and how it has changed me. Could you imagine doing two term papers, one 500 word count essay, plus a time-consuming project in Biology class, all in one week? I did it! I mean, yeah really – boating aside! Oh my, you think I'm just being sarcastic here… Continue

Carmel Dude my life

Through my Eyes By Christian Lasley You may not know me but let me tell you how I became who I am. It all started with my birth. I was born in an army base near San Antonio, Texas January, 20, 1990. In two months I had a stroke in my frontal lobe in my brain. That changed everything. Doctors tried to predict that I would not be able to walk, talk or even eat. A year later, I began to walk on my own. At 3 years old, I began to talk for the first time and ate my first food. About this t… Continue

I want to go to Cambodia and council the girls and women who have been hurt by the Sex Slavery epidemic, when you can buy a child for less then you can buy a cow, there is a problem. I hope to attend University of Illinois Chicago and major in either Sociology and/or counseling and from there or before there, i hope to follow where ever god l… Continue

Hannah Green Peices of my life #1

So if you had asked me what my life plans were just three months ago, i would simply reply "to get out of my small town as fast as i can, to leave everything behind missing only my mother father and sister" my outlook is different on life now, i don't want a bigger life, a "happier" life a richer life. I want to do my best of situations i am put through, and the emotions i feel. biblestudyspace Sacrifice and Service

The apostle Paul. Paul was one of the first Missionary in the Christina Church, When he became a Christian, he fell from these heights to the level of the despised and downtrodden. The litany of his sufferings in the cause of Christ is astonishing (2 Cor. 11:23-28). It is hard to imagine that a human body could survive so much cruel treatment. Yet he had no regrets that he exchanged a life of privilege for a life of hardship. He said that he counted all his losses as dung (Phil. 3:8). Why?Continue
